APS / AUTOMATION PERSONNEL SERVICE, INC.

1. Scope of this notice

This notice explains how APS, operated by AUTOMATION PERSONNEL SERVICE, INC., handles information connected with candidate inquiries and recruitment discussions. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which also describes website technical records, security, retention, and privacy requests.

You can ask about opportunities without joining APS Job Alerts. The optional SMS program has a separate consent process and separate SMS Terms.

2. Candidate information

We receive the candidate information you choose to provide through a website inquiry, submitted preferences, or later correspondence with APS. The website does not include a resume-upload field. If you provide a resume directly during a recruitment discussion, it becomes part of the relevant recruitment record.

  • Name, email address, phone number, and candidate communications.
  • Preferred locations, job interests, work arrangements, schedules, and availability.
  • Resume information, employment history, education, skills, qualifications, and experience when you provide them.
  • Work eligibility information relevant to a role, when appropriately requested during a recruitment process.
  • Recruitment correspondence, interview-related information, and records of APS hiring discussions where those steps occur.

3. How information supports recruitment

We use relevant information to understand your interests, discuss potential roles, assess how your experience relates to an opportunity, communicate with you, and coordinate a recruitment process. Information may also help us maintain accurate records, respond to a request, protect our systems, and meet applicable requirements.

We do not promise that sharing information will result in an interview, offer, compensation level, or employment. Job availability and hiring decisions depend on the particular APS role and applicable hiring process.

4. APS hiring and service providers

Relevant candidate information is used by APS to evaluate candidates for APS’s own positions. APS does not recruit for third-party employers, provide third-party recruiting lists, or sell candidate information to other companies.

Service providers may process information needed to support hosting, records, communications, and recruitment administration. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, security, or safety. Service-provider processing remains limited to the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Recruitment information and SMS consent

Recruitment information and SMS opt-in permission serve different purposes. A APS hiring discussion or submission of a resume does not enroll you in the optional text program.

Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliate marketers for their marketing or promotional purposes. APS SMS consent is not passed to another company or brand for independent marketing.

APS does not use purchased, rented, or scraped contact lists for Job Alerts. You can decline or stop text messages without losing access to the website or the ability to contact APS.

6. Please share only what is needed

Keep website inquiries focused on your experience, interests, and the assistance you are seeking. Do not include Social Security numbers, bank or payment details, identity document images, medical records, passwords, or other highly sensitive information in the website’s message fields.

If a later recruitment step requires additional information, ask APS why it is needed and how to provide it appropriately before sending it. Do not submit confidential information belonging to a current or former employer without authorization.

7. Accuracy, preferences, and your requests

Tell us if your contact details, availability, preferences, or recruitment information need to be corrected. You may ask about the information we hold or request deletion, subject to applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping needs. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the request.

To stop APS Job Alerts, reply STOP to a program message, use the unsubscribe option on the Job Alerts page, or contact [email protected]. A limited opt-out record may remain so that the number is not automatically enrolled again.

We retain recruitment information for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant recruitment purpose, relationship, and legal, security, or dispute-resolution needs. See the Privacy Policy for additional information about retention and safeguards.
